Brazilian stars/Estrellas brasileñas
Illo for a short story from a contest sponsored by the Goethe Institut. The plot’s about a guy who succeds in gather kids named after famous Brazilian soccer stars but they happens to be dreadful players.
Ilustración para un cuento de un concurso patrocinado por el Instituto Goethe. El argumento es sobre un tipo que logra reunir chicos llamados como famosas estrellas del fútbol brasileño pero resultan ser pésimos jugadores.
I like these fine caricatures. Did you base them on real people or did you create them from imagination. Either way, they have a lot of personality.

These are totally imaginary and I played arranging different traits for each one. We, here, are exposed to team players pictures from childhood; so, you can help it but to collect many funny faces and bodies into your memory from the sport pages. Thanks for your kind words and message.

Oh, in Holland everybody does that too, name their kids after soccer players. I used to tease my sister-in-law when she was present, calling her unborn Marco (van Basten) all the time. Irritated the hell out of her!
