Miguel Pichetto is the chief of majority (Peronist) block of senators and of his party in the Río Negro province -where the incumbent governor is a Radical in good terms with the presidential couple. As so, he’s in an ambiguous position he try no to address. Instead he stress hi’s will to reorganize his party so to be more attractive to the middle class. Only a few days after this interview came the stunning news of the pact between Kirchner and his former (and harsh critic) minister Lavagna to “work together for a renewed Justicialist (Peronist) Party” with the same apparent aim: to seduce the skeptic middle class, that is.
Miguel Pichetto es el jefe del bloque de senadores por la mayoría (peronista) y de su partido en la provincia de Río Negro, donde el actual gobernador es un radical en buenos términos con la pareja presidencial. Así que él está en una posición ambigua de la que prefiere no hablar. En cambio remarca su voluntad de reorganizar su partido para hacerlo más atractivo para la clase media. Sólo unos días después de esta entrevista llegó la sorprendente noticia del pacto entre Kircner y su anterior (y acerbo crítico) ministro Lavagna para “trabajar juntos por un Partido Justicialista (peronista) renovado, aparentemente con el mismo objetivo: o sea, seducir a la escéptica clase media.
